Sylvia B. Woods is founder and real estate broker at Heritage Real Estate Services, Inc., one of the premier real estate firms in New York State’s Westchester County.  At Heritage, Sylvia leads a team of professionals and is responsible for overseeing all real estate transactions, including handling of financial structures, distressed properties for homeowners, as well as management of bank assets. 

With extensive knowledge of the industry, she is well equipped to help potential buyers locate their perfect homes, and to assist sellers in finding the best buyers for their properties. In addition to real estate transactions, her interest has expanded to policy and decision making with her holding several leadership positions for the multiple listing services of Westchester and Putnam Counties.

Sylvia recently joined The Haute Real Estate Network (HLRN), a distinguished collective of leading real estate agent and brokers, managing the most extravagant properties in leading markets around the globe for affluent buyers, sellers, and real estate enthusiasts.

Her professional and business acumen has established her as a trusted member in the community. She is a philanthropist and mentor to budding entrepreneurs. Passionate about empowering the next generation, she conducts workshops on financial empowerment and wealth building through real estate.

She is also actively involved in a variety of civic and professional organizations, including the American Heart Association, the March of Dimes, the Mt. Sinai Hospital Advisory Board for Multicultural and Community Affairs, Benedict College National Alumni Association, and the Progressive Benedict Club of New York, Inc.  She supports the College Fund-UNCF, the Sylvia Woods Scholarship Foundation, and the Bertha R. Brown Scholarship Fund at Benedict College.

 
Sylvia holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Benedict College and a MBA from the University of New Haven in Connecticut.
